Calvin Giordano & Associates, a SAFEbuilt company, is currently seeking top talent for a Roadway Engineer (P.E.) Project Manager to join their operations in Fort Lauderdale.
This is professional engineering work in the management, design, and review of a variety of engineering projects with a focus on roadway design projects. The experience can range from roadway, drainage, land development, water and wastewater design, or water/wastewater treatment plant experience. The position requires a professional engineer with project management skills, organization, technical knowledge, and ability in applying principles of engineering. The responsibilities include the preparation and review of engineering design plans and specifications, permitting applications and coordination, calculations, and engineering analysis required in producing a set of construction drawings or an engineering report. Additional responsibilities include coordination with Clients, Public Agencies, other Consultants, Contractors, CAD operators, other Project Managers, Junior Engineers, and vendors
SKILLS, EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Professional Engineering (P.E.) License
- Bachelors in Engineering required
- Have solid computer skills and experience using MS Office programs
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Exercise initiative and display independent judgment
- Be self-directed and self-motivated
- Microstation and/or CAD experience preferred
