WHY JOIN US
Broward Country Branch
The Broward County Branch is a subsidiary of the Florida Section, grouped under Region 5 of the American Society of Civil Engineers. We have over 500 members in the Broward area. We hold monthly meetings where you can network with other members and stay up to date on the latest engineering news and trends. We also produce a quarterly newsletter to keep you informed. If you don’t receive our mailings you can join our mailing list at the bottom of the page.
In addition to our general membership meetings, we participate in community service, provide opportunities to get PDHs, raise funds to provide our local university students with scholarships, and more!

The Society
The American Society of Civil Engineers represents more than 150,000 members of the civil engineering profession in 177 countries. Founded in 1852, ASCE is the nation’s oldest engineering society.

Since 1969
Broward Country Branch
In 1969, the Broward Branch was established in Broward County due to the increase in regional memberships in the State of Florida. Over the past (5) decades, the Broward Branch has grown to an over 500-member branch comprising of students and young professionals & seasoned professionals from both the private and public sectors. Currently, the Broward Branch operates in a (5) “committee” group based structure led by the branch’s Executive Board.
