Marc Gambrill, P.E., AAE

In January 2022, Marc Gambrill joined HDR as a Senior Aviation Program Manager.  Gambrill most recently served as the chief development officer for Florida’s Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport and North Perry Airport, leading project management, planning, environmental, design and construction efforts for the facilities.  As an accredited airport executive who has helped oversee more than $1.6 billion of projects, Gambrill understands the challenges airport leadership face on a daily basis. Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood is annually among the busiest airports in the U.S. and in 2020 was among the top 15 airports in the nation by enplanements. Marc has a Bachelor’s of Science in Civil Engineering from Wentworth Institute of Technology, a Master’s of Science in Civil/Environmental Engineering from Tufts University, and a Master’s in Public Administration (MPA) from Florida Atlantic University. In May 2014, Marc received his Accredited Airport Executive (AAE) from American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE) which further enhanced his knowledge in the aviation industry. In his free time, Marc is an avid triathlete and competes in IronMan competitions across the United States.
