Position: Civil Aviation Project Manager

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Technical knowledge of civil engineering and design standards.
- Progressively increasing knowledge and understanding of the project development process, including site planning and site engineering.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential. Proven presentation skills are required.
- Progressively increasing ability to serve as a technical specialist in civil engineering for various assignments and tasks.
- Progressively increasing ability to demonstrate creativity, foresight and mature engineering judgement in anticipating and solving unpredictable engineering problems.
- Progressively increasing ability to manage project budget and schedule.
- Progressively increasing ability to lead and direct a team of engineers and subconsultants.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Responsible for the overall management of assigned projects(s) and coordination of the A/E Consults of Record and the Contractor.
- Performs and directs others in accordance with the EAC’s policies and to the satisfaction of the client’s requirements.
- Coordinates all aspects of the project to ensure an effective design that meets the needs of the stakeholders.
- Assures that each project team complies with the contract agreement as well as exercises rigid cost control to implement the approved design within established budget restraints.
- Identifies causes for revisions to projects and whether such changes are billable to the client.
- Responsible for contract and scope management
EXPERIENCE:
- Typically five years’ post registration experience.
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (preferred) or related field.
- Licensed as a Professional Engineer (P.E.) preferred.
