Ardurra is seeking a Water/Wastewater Engineer to join our staff in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
This position will be expected to assist with, the collection and analysis of field data, scheduling and communication with subconsultants and contractors, and drafting reports and client deliverables. The individual should be willing to learn and become proficient in engineering tasks that are crucial to the success of water and wastewater projects.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
- EI/EIT Certificate preferred
- Strong computer skills
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or GIS a definite plus
- Self-motivated, team-oriented individual with the ability to work on challenging projects in a team environment
- Excellent Communication Skills
Key Responsibilities
- Assists with water and wastewater distribution/collection and treatment projects
- Assists with data collection through field work and review of field notes.
- Assists in client contact and communication pertaining to specific projects
- Assists in communication with sub consultants and field crews.
- Assists in the development of cost estimates for various projects
- Keeps Project Manager informed of workload and any changes in project scope or additional services
