Todd Bates is a project surveyor for KEITH (Keith and Associates), in Pompano Beach, Florida where he covers projects throughout Florida. He holds a B.S. in International Affairs from Florida State University with a concentration in Economics. He also has Geomatics Certificate from the University of Florida where he is currently pursuing a M.S. in Geomatics. Todd is a licensed Professional Surveyor and Mapper in the State of Florida and has 19 years of experience in the Geospatial industry which includes the following: conventional Land Surveying, Geographic Information Systems, Geodetic/GNSS and LiDAR applications. He is a past Adjunct Instructor for the Land Surveying program at Atlantic Technical College and is heavily involved in the Florida Surveying and Mapping Society. Todd currently serves as Vice President for the Broward Chapter of FSMS and Treasurer for the Broward Chapter of UESI. He was also past Secretary of the Indian River County Chapter of FSMS. Todd currently resides in Palm Beach County, Florida where he maintains active civic involvement in the local community by coaching youth and other volunteer activities.
